I am a self representing artist and this pendant has been hand made in my studio using soft glass and a propane/oxygen torch and is a unique design.

STRATA - reminds me of the layers of minerals and rocks that you can see in cliff faces along the Murray River in South Australia.
This pendant is approximately 43mm long and ranges from 13 to 22 mm wide, has sterling silver fittings and comes with a sterling silver snake chain.

It has been placed on a fine silver headpin with a hand worked sediment glass finial. You can select a 2mm snake chain in 46 or 51 cm length as in the centre of the picture above. The pendant will arrive wrapped in tissue in a gift bag with a small complimentary silver polishing cloth.

Please be aware that my picture are often enlarged to show the intricate detail of the piece & that computer monitors can vary in their rendering of colours. I try my best to offer an accurate description (including size) of the item as well as photos.

All of my lamp work beads and pendants are annealed in a kiln after making to ensure that the beads are durable and not prone to temperature stress, cracking or breaking. However the beads are still made of glass so dropping, banging or hitting them is never a good idea. The bead holes are also thoroughly cleaned and all bead release removed.

I incorporate a range of metals, precious stones and pearls with some of my work to create beautiful, one of a kind jewellery pieces that are the perfect gift for yourself or friends and family.

Many of my designs reflect the local landscapes and environments of the Lake Alexandrina and Coorong regions in South Australia an area which I am passionate about protecting.
